Embroidery Ideas

So... I need embroidery ideas. I have a pillow case kit that I got a LONG time ago, and I figured why not go ahead and do it lol. Anyway, it has instructions on embroidering flowers on it, but I'm not really feeling that lol. So I need some ideas, thoughts anyone?

A scripture verse or favorite quote with border design of some kind. I guess that's not very original though :(

A coffee cup with steam coming from it, and you could put a message on the cup (or not).

Since it's a kit, is there a design stamped on the pillow? If so, you're stuck. Even if not, you're still at least stuck with the colors and quantities of floss in the kit. If you really want to get inspired, go wander around in the needlecraft section of Hobby Lobby, thumb through the instruction books, and bring home some patterns and more floss. You can also download all kinds of patterns off the internet, or transfer any drawing / photo to fabric.

Do you have an embroidery hoop?

No its not, its just blank muslin, I think we do, though i haven't used it for my couple projects so far.
